With each edition we will try to bring you a useful software you don't have to pay for... just as we did in previous months. Some are direct from Rose City and some are great toys and tools we have discovered elsewhere that we think you will like! This month we have a bonus for you... two freebies and two special discounts. The first freebie is a simple and effective little calendar for your system tray. You probably are aware of the little clock in your Windows Taskbar notification area (system tray). Sometimes if Windows is cooperating, you can just point to it with your mouse and it will give you the date... but other times not. Why is that? We sure don't know... ask Bill! But we do know it is annoying as heck. Now, you can click on the clock and open a calendar which tells you the date. However... did you ever try to change the month? Oops... there goes your whole system's date tracking... and along with it any trial copies of software you may have installed. Short answer here, is don't do it! Much better is the nifty little AMPsoft Calendar program that will sit quietly in your tray and shows the date right in the tray. 
Quickly, we wanted to tell you about another handy little tray utility called Taskbar Shuffle. This is a unique one we have personally come to LOVE. A quick install opens it to the system tray and it will start with Windows. It allows you to rearrange the buttons on your Windows taskbar by dragging and dropping them. And it also allows you to rearrange your system tray icons by dragging and dropping as well (but that does require a hotkey).
