Our standard arrangement with the developer is to require no money up front, but to work strictly for an agreed upon percentage of the sales proceeds. Normally, we arrange the vendors and deal with them directly and do all the shareware site listings, promotions, press releases, etc. In addition we can also handle the majority of the tech support as we get up to speed on the typical questions and answers.
